Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.

  2. Brisket

    • Heat oil and sear seasoned beef short ribs. Transfer to full gastronorm tray.
    • Add onions, garlic, carrots, and celery to hot pan. Cook, stirring for 3-5 minutes or until vegetables start to brown. Then add to beef short ribs.
    • Pour over KNORR Italiana Pronto Napoli, KNORR Concentrated Liquid Stock, liquid smoke, and water.
    • Braise in a combi oven at 140°C dry heat for 3 hours, or until tender. Pull beef off bone and combine with a little of the cooking liquid.

  3. Patty

    • Season beef mince with salt and pepper. Form into 10 even patties and cook over char grill until medium well.
    • Add sliced cheese at the last minute of cooking to melt slightly.

  4. To Assemble

    • Combine HELLMANN'S Real Mayonnaise, KNORR American Chipotle BBQ Sauce, and liquid smoke. Set aside.
    • Spread extra HELLMANN'S Real Mayonnaise on the base of burger bun.
    • Top with pickled red cabbage, beef patty, pulled beef brisket, and finally the smoky chipotle mayo.
