Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Mushroom Soup

    • Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook onions until softened.
    • Add mushrooms and sauté for 10 minutes, before adding the garlic and lemon thyme.
    • Cook for a further 5 minutes. Add KNORR Aromat Seasoning, water, salt, and black pepper.
    • Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then blend until smooth.
    • Stir thickened cream through the soup. Heat until warmed through.
  3. Bacon Pangrattato

    • Heat extra oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook bacon rashers until golden.
    • Add panko crumbs and continue frying until it turns golden brown.
    • Allow to cool slightly and stir through extra lemon thyme.
  4. To Serve

    • Scoop soup into individual serving bowls and top with bacon pangrattato.
    • Serving suggestion: Accompany with shaved parmesan, a side salad, and bread slices.
