Preparation

  1. What you need

    • Select the number of serves you require for this recipe, and the quantity of ingredients will be automatically adjusted accordingly.
  2. Chicken Kiev

    • Combine butter, KNORR Hollandaise Sauce, garlic puree, and chives. Place the garlic butter mix into a piping bag.
    • Make an insert in the chicken breast, fill with garlic butter, and chill for 1 hour in the fridge or cool room.
    • Lightly crumb the chicken with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in that order.
    • Coat a baking tray with cooking spray. Place the chicken on the tray and bake at 160°C for 35 minutes or until cooked, depending on the size of the chicken breast.
  3. Sauce

    • In a saucepan, combine KNORR Hollandaise Sauce, honey, cream, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. To Serve

    • Serve the Chicken Kiev with baked potato wedges and green salad, and the sauce on the side.
  5. Chef's Tips

    • If pressed for time, simply crumb the chicken without filling it. Instead, add garlic to the honey mustard sauce and serve.
    • Swap butter for margarine to reduce the amount of saturated fat.
