In this video, the staff at Anglican Care aged care facility and their production units talk about how a new initiative under the ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ program helped them cut down food wastage, over a period of 6 weeks. By implementing a simple audit and breaking down their processes, they were able to measure how much food was being sent to landfill versus what had been sent out from their units. Implementing the findings with simple strategies helped them halve their food wastage.
